KUMAMOTO, May 28 (World Cup) -- Belgium midfielder Sven Vermant has apologised to his team-mates after questioning coach Robert Waseige's decision to play him out of position. The Schalke midfielder was unhappy about having to play on the right wing instead of the left in Sunday's 1-0 friendly win over Costa Rica. But after being reproached for his attitude by Waseige and captain Marc Wilmots, the 29-year-old has backed down. "I have to admit that I was wrong," Vermant told Belgian Radio 1. "I am just so used to playing on the left with my club that I preferred that position with the Red Devils as well. "Now I am just happy if I can start on the pitch." end
