Turkey are not in awe of four times world
champions Brazil, their first opponents at the World Cup.
The Turks, who will also meet China and Costa Rica in Group C, are expected to
progress to the second phase of the competition, but Sukur is looking to top the
group.
Claiming at least a point on June 3 in Ulsan against Brazil is a must for that
to happen.
"Ronaldo is one of the best in the world," he said. "We will play against
him but we shouldn't see the problem as bigger than it is.
"We are very eager, we are in top form, and most importantly we are not
afraid of Brazil."
Team-mate Nihat Kahveci is relishing coming face to face with Real Madrid
defender Roberto Carlos.
"Roberto Carlos is one of the best players in the world," said Nihat. "But
I am a good player as well.
"We will play the best squad in the world, but we are good as well."
