Italy international Filippo Inzaghi's knee injury
is not as serious as was first feared.
The 28-year-old AC Milan striker damaged the left knee in the friendly
against Japanese outfit Kashima Antlers.
Tests confirmed he would not be available for Italy's opening game against
Ecuador on Monday June 3 but he aims to be fit for their second game against
Croatia on June 8.
"Fortunately the scare has passed, I will do everything to get back as
quickly as possible," the AC Milan striker told the Italian press.
