Belgium coach Robert Waseige has been boosted by the news that defender Glen De Boeck will resume training.

De Boeck sustained an ankle injury during the friendly victory over Costa Rica at the weekend.

But the problem is not as serious as first feared and a visit to the hospital proved nothing was broken.

Goalkeeper Geert De Vlieger and striker Gert Verheyen were also absent from training on Monday but merely as a precaution.

De Vlieger wanted to rest his Achilles whilst Verheyen felt a light pain in his thigh.

The Red Devils were scheduled to visit local hot springs as they relax ahead of their opening Group H clash against co-hosts Japan on June 4.
