Turkey coach Senol Gunes today brought training to a premature end after hearing that a Brazilian spy had infiltrated their World Cup base.

The squad had finished their exercises and just begun a practice match featuring several tactical defensive formations when Gunes heard about the unwanted intruder.

He immediately called a halt to proceedings.

Turkey face Brazil in their opening World Cup game on June 3.

Another visitor to training was FIFA Technical Committee member Anghel Iordanescu, who was there to ensure that the conditions were to Turkey's liking.

National team manager Can Gobanoglu responded: "Our camp is just as planned. The South Koreans are helping us a lot.

"We are working as if we are at home. We already knew that the Koreans love us."
