Slovenia coach Srecko Katanec is sweating on the fitness of libero Marinko Galic.
The veteran Koper defender returned to training this weekend but he remains a doubt for Slovenia's opening World Cup game against Spain in Gwangiu on June 2.
Katanec has spent much of his time in practice recently concentrating on his defence, and in particular weighing up potential replacements for Galic.
The most likely man to step in would be youngster Muamer Vugdalic.
Meanwhile, the Slovenian players and officials have been surprised at the level of attention they have been getting in training.
An enthusiastic crowd of over 5000 turned up to watch Saturday's session, applauding the squad as they were put through their paces.
The sessions have been far from easy though for a Slovenia side till acclimatising following their arrival in Japan, prompting playmaker Zlatko Zahovic to admit: "I cannot wait for the World Cup to start."
