Ammar Souayah has promised his critics they
will see the real Tunisia in Sunday's friendly with Denmark.
The national team boss has come under fire following the 3-0 defeat in a
warm-up match against local club side Gamba.
But Souayah insists his players had not had time to recover from the journey
in time to look anything like their best.
"There was not enough time to work," he said.
"We were still recovering. And if one works on technical, tactical or
physical aspects, you lose recovery time."
"This is not an excuse, it's reality."
Souayah is expected to revert to a more traditional 4-4-2 against Denmark from
the experimental 3-5-2 he tried against Gamba.
"I tested the 3-5-2 to be ready in case we needed it against an opponent, in
a particular circumstance," Souayah said.
