Poland have finally arrived in South Korea
despite a disagreement over a batch of 100 US dollar notes.
The plane carrying the squad to the Far East was forced to refuel in the
Russian city of Novosibirsk but progress was hampered by a row over payment.
The Poles wanted to pay for the fuel by credit card but found that there
wasn't suitable equipment forcing them to use cash.
The Russian officials then examined every 100-dollar note to make sure there
were no fakes preventing the plane from taking off.
When the squad did arrive in South Korea they transferred to their base at
Daejeon.
Poland will complete their pre-World Cup build-up with a game against local
team Soengnam Ilhawa on Sunday.
