Nigeria captain Jay Jay Okocha is ready to listen to offers from Premiership clubs.

The Super Eagles talisman is poised to cut his ties with Paris St Germain after the finals, and has been linked with a move to Bolton.

The 28-year-old, who will make history this summer as the first Nigerian to play in three World Cups, would relish a move to England.

"Well I would love that," he said.

"I have to say I would love to move to England.

"I have always watched the Premiership and have been very impressed with English football.

"I myself have had no contact personally with any clubs in England yet but maybe something will happen after the World Cup."

Okocha joined PSG from Turkish side Fenerbahce for £10.6million following his excellent performances during the 1998 World Cup.

The midfielder, who featured in only 20 French games this campaign, was part of the Fenerbahce side which inflicted Manchester United's first home European defeat when the Turkish side left Old Trafford with a 1-0 win in the 1996/97 season.

He is looking forward to using the World Cup as a shop window for his talents, and admitted he is particularly relishing the prospect of facing England on June 12 in Osaka.

"Yes I am personally looking forward to that game against England, as are my team-mates," added Okocha.

"Although we are looking forward to every game, the match with England is the last of the group games so it will probably be crucial."
