South Africa coach Jomo Sono admitted his side faces it's toughest test yet when they take on fellow World Cup finalists Turkey on Thursday.

Bafana Bafana enjoyed a 2-0 victory over a transitional Scotland side yesterday but were far from impressive despite the result.

However, Sono was delighted to have a win under his belt as he prepares to meet Spain, Slovenia and Paraguay in Group B of the first phase.

``Scotland gave us a good game, they are a very good country,'' said Sono.

``It was important for us to win to get our confidence back.

``I was happy we dominated the game and we played a good passing game besides the hot conditions and the wet and heavy pitch.

``Our biggest test will be against Turkey.''
