Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi hosted Italy's national team for breakfast on Tuesday morning before their departure to the World Cup finals.
The Azzurri joined Berlusconi at his Villa Madama residence as Giovanni Trapattoni's men geared up for their opening group phase alongside Croatia, Mexico and Ecuador.
Berlusconi warned them that Italy expects with a tongue in cheek jibe at their challenge.
"In case of elimination it is better you do not come back. If you do I will have you all arrested, with a ball and chain for your legs," he told the squad.
And with reference to Italy's poor record in penalty shoot-outs, he added: "Giovanni (Trapattoni) will teach them how to score a penalty."
