Russia coach Oleg Romantsev is expected to name his final 23-man squad for the World Cup finals on Tuesday.
Romantsev watched his side finish fourth at the LG Cup in Moscow this weekend, following defeats by Belarus and Yugoslavia, and must now decide which four players will miss out on the trip to the Far East.
Media speculation has suggested that the unlucky quartet will be midfielders Andrei Kariaka, Andrei Arshavin, Denis Laktionov and Igor Semshov.
Romantsev will reveal all live on Russian television station ORT at 2100 Moscow time.
