Paraguay goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert has criticised his nation's media for not backing their World Cup campaign.
Cesare Maldini's side have arrived in Japan to finalise their preparations for the tournament which starts in 11 days time.
And the extravert Chilavert feels the press back home are just waiting for the team to fail.
He points to the 2-1 friendly victory in Sweden last week as proof they can do well, and dedicated the win "to all those who didn't believe in us".
He added: "We know we have unfair journalists, who are waiting for our failure."
On Tuesday, Paraguay will play a friendly match against Itawa, from the Japanese second division, before meeting Urawa Diamond on Sunday.
