Paraguay coach Cesare Maldini will
take a squad of 19 players to face Sweden in their final World Cup warm-up
match before heading to Japan and Korea.
The veteran Italian coach will then take the squad directly to Japan after the
game at the Rasunda stadium, where they are expected to link up with the four
other probables for the final 23.
Goalkeeper Ricardo Tavarelli, defender Julio Cesar Caceres, midfielder Juan
Carlos Franco and forward Richard Baez of Olimpia will turn out for their club
against Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores on , before heading directly
to Japan.
They will meet up with the rest of the squad ahead of the friendly against
Urawa Reds on May 26.
Maldini is expected to announce the squad on his arrival in the Far East.
