Russia coach Oleg Romantsev has named a 27-man preliminary squad for the World Cup finals.

The squad will be narrowed down to 23 after the LG tournament in Moscow from May 17-19.

Romantsev's squad take on Ukraine, Belarus and Yugoslavia as part of their build-up for the finals in Japan and South Korea.
