If two or more teams are equal on points, these criteria are applied to determine the standings:

NB If two teams having the same number of points and goals scored and conceded play their last group game against each other and are still equal at the end of that match, the ranking of those teams will be determined by a penalty shoot-out provided that no other team within the group has the same number of points. If that is the case, the criteria listed above will apply.
