POTTERS SEAL GRIFFIN DEAL Stoke defender Andy Griffin believes he will end his career at the club after leaving Derby to join the Potters for the fourth time. The 28-year old has completed a £300,000 move from Premier League side Derby County after the successful completion of a medical. His last spell at the Britannia Stadium was at the end of last season, on loan from Portsmouth, before he opted to join the Rams. He told the club's official website: "I enjoyed it here last season a lot more than I have enjoyed this season at Derby. Perhaps I never realised I was that happy until I left. "You live and die by your decision. Hindsight is a great thing. But if I could turn back the clock, then my decision in the summer would have been different. "I started my career here and it looks like I will end my career here. I can't really see myself going anywhere else now to be honest. Stoke means a lot to me, it is a club I love and a club I want to see in the top flight." |
