Forest clinch Hobbs deal
Hull have completed the protracted sale of defender Jack Hobbs to Nottingham Forest, in a deal worth close to £1million.

Hobbs had been on a season-long loan at the City Ground but, with interest from the likes of Wigan and Reading, Forest were faced with the option of making a permanent move of their own or losing the player.
A fee was agreed almost a fortnight ago but, with negotiations dragging, Hull recalled Hobbs and indicated they would be willing to keep him at the KC Stadium if their terms were not met.
Forest eventually got the deal over the line in the last hour of the transfer window, with Hobbs signing a four-and-a-half-year contract.
