Cardiff swoop for Smith

Cardiff have completed the signing of forward Tommy Smith from QPR on a two-year contract.

The 32-year-old agreed terms on Thursday after passing a medical and has now put pen to paper.

Smith joins former Rangers team mates Heidar Helguson and Matthew Connolly who also switched to the Bluebirds this summer.

The former Watford, Sunderland, Derby and Portsmouth man could feature in Saturday's clash at Bristol City.
