Hearts received another fitness boost on Thursday after Calum Elliot was given the all clear to return to training next week.
Elliot, 22, has not played for almost three months after undergoing knee surgery but is aiming for a first-team return by early December.
The news comes just 24 hours after it emerged midfielder Laryea Kingston would return to training tomorrow following his recovery from a troublesome hamstring problem.
Elliot told his club's official website: "It's been a while and I just want to get back training properly and then take things from there.
"It will be up to the manager when I get back into the team but all I can do is work hard and try to impress."
