Celtic must turn their attention to Europe after a convincing 3-0 Clydesdale Bank Premier League win over Kilmarnock.

Goals from Aiden McGeady, Georgios Samaras and Niall McGinn secured three points on Saturday which have left Celtic three clear at the top thanks to the half-time abandonment of Rangers' match at Dundee United.

But they will have little time to celebrate, with Hamburg next on the agenda in the Europa League on Thursday.

With just one point from three Group C games, McGinn admits victory is essential if they are to have realistic hopes of qualifying.

"It is a must-win game for us, but it will be hard," said McGinn.

"Hamburg are a good side, so it is going to be difficult. But we will go over there with confidence after the result and performance against Kilmarnock.

"We hope we can get the early goal, and then try to see the game out."
