Andrew Driver is intent on playing his part in an "exciting" future at Hearts despite being linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League.
The winger has been the subject of bids from Burnley and Coventry during the last 12 months and is the club's prized asset following the £2.3million sale of Christophe Berra to Wolves.
But Driver signed a five-year contract at the start of this season and, with Hearts sitting third in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, he does not want to miss out on the prospect of European football.
The Englishman's future is likely to remain a topic of speculation after being linked with the likes of Everton and Wigan.
But the 21-year-old sees himself playing a full part in the Edinburgh club's next campaign.
"I'm signed for four years so I don't think anything other than that," Driver said.
"Until the day comes when someone says you have got to move or an offer has been accepted, that's when you think about it.
"I'm happy here on a long contract. We have shown this year we can make something of ourselves and it would be a shame to move away and miss out on that.
"The way the team has evolved, it's something you want to stay and be involved in."
Driver was promoting the launch of the club's new season tickets, which start at £19 for children and £260 for adults.
And he believes they will be snapped up quickly after Csaba Laszlo restored the feelgood factor at Tynecastle.
After taking over on the back of their worst top-flight finish for more than two decades, Laszlo has helped restore optimism to levels last seen when George Burley led the side to the top of the SPL in the autumn of 2005.
Despite winning the Scottish Cup after Burley's departure, their spell at the top of the table proved a flash in the pan.
But Driver believes Laszlo could be on the verge of bringing sustainable success to Hearts.
"The new gaffer has given the same kind of buzz as there was then," Driver said.
"It's not to the same extent as there was with George Burley, obviously they went on that magnificent run at the start of the season and finished second in the league.
"But I think we are doing it a different way this time. We are doing it slowly and building ourselves up to it. It didn't all happen overnight like it kind of did then.
"We are steadily improving and we can't stop and rest on our laurels.
"We have to keep going and if we keep improving, you never know what's going to happen."
Driver added: "Getting into Europe and getting a couple of new players and getting a bit of freshness about the team, next season could be exciting.
"It's something, as a player, you want to be involved in. You want to get into Europe and the way we are going I think we could do really well."
