Livingston manager John Robertson has warned striker Robert Snodgrass to improve his attitude - or leave the club.
The 18-year-old has threatened to take the Bank of Scotland Premier League by storm on a number of occasions with a variety of fine goals.
But the teenager has failed to deliver consistent performances for the Bell's First Division-bound team this season.
The Livi boss was again left frustrated with Snodgrass after the defeat by Motherwell on Wednesday and insists his patience is running out.
Robertson said: "We saw flashes of brilliance, but Robert has to understand he is not the player he was two seasons ago.
"He has gone back the way, because he has let things go to his head. We will get that knocked out of his head.
"He will come back after the summer and do it my way or he will not be here - it's as simple as that."
But Snodgrass is not alone in Robertson's ire after poor displays against Inverness and Motherwell in their last two outings.
Now the former Hearts head coach is demanding a major improvement as Livi bid farewell to the top flight at Falkirk.
Robertson added: "Falkirk are safe and I just don't want to sit through what I saw on Saturday and again on Wednesday evening.
"We go out and play nice football and create chances, but then we lose a goal.
"If I'm being perfectly honest it is embarrassing and unacceptable.
"I will speak to the players I want to keep here and I will see if they want to stay here.
"The ones I don't want to keep will know and will know very quickly."
Meanwhile, Livingston owner Pearse Flynn has commended the supporters for standing by the relegated Almondvale club.
He told the club's official website, www.livingstonfc.co.uk: "It means a great deal to the club that so many fans turned up to get season tickets.
"I would urge the remainder to get theirs before the end of May so we can give John Robertson the budget he requires for next season.
"One family is moving away to Aberdeenshire and won't make home games next season, but they have bought season tickets simply because they know it will help the club to try to return to the SPL at the first attempt."
