Livingston manager John Robertson will ring the changes for the final home game of the season against Motherwell - after his patience with his experienced players finally snapped.
Robertson was livid with his side's display in the 1-0 Bank of Scotland Premier League defeat to Inverness at Almondvale on Saturday, a result which confirmed the Lions' relegation to the Bell's First Division.
The Livi boss claimed up to six players had no future at the club on the back of the display and will therefore pitch many of his youngsters into battle against Terry Butcher's men.
Robertson believes the West Lothian fans deserve better and expects his side to play with more heart and passion on Wednesday.
He said: "I was angry with Saturday's performance and I've let the players know that so there will be changes tomorrow night.
"We'll freshen up the team and let the youngsters get a chance. I've tried to protect them from the position we've been in because it can affect their careers, but they'll now be given a run.
"I know what the experienced players can do so now let's see what the younger lads can do.
"The fans have been great and I hope they turn out, but I wouldn't blame them if they didn't after Saturday's performance as it was poor. The least they now deserve is a bit of attitude and commitment.
"We're out to win the match as it's still a big game with futures at stake. "Players are playing for contracts, for their pride and for the fans who turn up to support them."
Robertson, meanwhile, has been dealt a blow with the news that on-loan striker Sam Morrow has suffered cruciate ligament damage.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 cap, farmed out by Hibernian in January, hobbled out of Saturday's 1-0 loss after an innocuous challenge from Grant Munro and has now returned to Easter Road to begin his rehabilitation.
Morrow, who has a year to run on his Hibs contract, faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Robertson added: "Sam has partially torn his cruciate ligament so he'll be out for a minimum of five to six months.
"It's a setback for him, there is no doubt, but he's young and has a great mentality.
"He is a player with a bright future and he did well during his time at Livingston."
