Livingston manager John Robertson believes his side have nothing to lose at Dunfermline on Saturday as they were written off as relegation certainties all season.
Robertson has masterminded a mini revival at Almondvale to close the gap to the Pars at the bottom to the Bank of Scotland Premier League to six points with four matches left.
Saturday's meeting between the sides in Fife has a make-or-break look about it and Robertson is all too aware of the importance of the occasion.
But he believes the pressure has shifted to an injury-hit Dunfermline team who are struggling for form and fluency.
Robertson said: "The guys here deserve enormous credit. When I arrived, their pride, confidence and belief had been battered from pillar to post because of two wins in 26 league games.
"But they're now playing good football and playing well.
"It's taken a lot of work on the training ground and in games and we've given ourselves a chance nobody believed possible. It's a massive match where victory could be very pivotal.
"The pressure's not really on us because everybody expects us to fail, everybody expects Dunfermline to win and the league to be over for us.
"But we're concentrating fully on winning this match."
Robertson believes the arrival of former Middlesbrough and Leeds striker Noel Whelan and ex-Celtic midfielder Colin Healy has proved vital in helping boost Livi's cause in recent weeks.
The pair were lacking fitness when they signed as free agents but have now hit top gear at the right time.
Robertson added: "We brought in a couple of quality players in Noel and Colin. We had to get them fit and if you look at Noel, he's lost 12lb and 3% body fat since he's arrived and he's running about like a teenager again because he's enjoying his football.
"That's what I try to get people to do - enjoy their football and express themselves.
"You need a goal threat and we have that in abundance now, we've had five or six different scorers the last two or three weeks. We can score from all areas of the park now."
