A Clarke Carlisle own-goal handed Kilmarnock victory over Barclays Premier League newcomers Burnley at Rugby Park.

Clarets boss Owen Coyle handed a late cameo to new signing Fernando Guerrero, who only finalised his season-long loan deal on the morning of the match, but he could not inspire his new team-mates to victory.

Carlisle turned an innocuous ball past Brian Jensen with an hour gone to settle the result in the hosts' favour, with Robbie Blake twice going close to an equaliser.
