Hearts could not follow up Tuesday night's opening victory as they lost narrowly to Slask Wroclaw.

The Jambos beat Goslar 08 2-1 last night on the first match of their tour of Germany.

However, they went down 1-0 against Polish side Slask after fielding a young side skippered by Michael Stewart.

Both sides created early chances with the Poles dangerous at times.

As the game wore on a goalless draw was increasingly likely until Tomasz Szewczuk capitalised on Adrian Mrowiec's mistake to fire home the decisive goal.
