Hearts captain Michael Stewart is expected to recover from an ankle injury in time for Saturday's Clydesdale Bank Premier League game against Falkirk.
Midfielder Stewart hurt himself kicking the ground during training on Monday but the problem is not thought to be serious.
Hearts remain without goalkeeper Marian Kello (shoulder), defender Marius Zalukas (ankle) and striker Callum Elliot (knee), but all three are expected to be fit in the next two weeks, with David Templeton (foot) set to return even sooner.
Falkirk trio Scott Arfield, Burton O'Brien and Kjartan Finnbogason have all returned to training ahead of the clash.
Finnbogason (knee) missed last week's defeat by St Mirren while O'Brien and Arfield went off with ankle problems.
Carl Finnigan is out for two to three weeks with ankle ligament damage while Thomas Scobbie (pelvis) remains on the sidelines.
