Jean-Joel Perrier Doumbe - The right-back was comfortable in possession and scored the winning goal in only his fifth game for Celtic. 7

Lee Naylor - Quiet first half but influential in Celtic's attacks after the break. 7

Steven Pressley - Was badly outpaced by 35-year-old McIntyre in the opening minutes and was second in the air to the veteran throughout. 5

Stephen McManus - Immediately atoned for his only slip in a confident display. 7

Neil Lennon - A quiet farewell game for the Celtic skipper, taken off in the 66th minute. 6

Paul Hartley - Full of running but lacked confidence in vital areas. 6

Shunsuke Nakamura - The usual classy touches but forced inside a lot in an attempt to break the Pars down. 7

Aiden McGeady - A sporadic threat with some decent runs down the left. 6

Kenny Miller - Celtic's brightest player until injury forced him off in the 56th minute. Set up Vennegoor of Hesselink with a brilliant turn and cross but he headed straight at De Vries before limping off. 7

Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink - Off target with a diving header and not at his best despite his physical presence. 6

Substitutes:

Craig Beattie - Pace and power caused problems. Missed a good chance but set up the goal. 6

Gary Caldwell - Did the simple things well after replacing Lennon but gave the ball away when he tried too much. 5

DUNFERMLINE

Dorus De Vries - Dealt well with Shunsuke Nakamura's wide deliveries and made some decent saves. 7

Greg Shields - The skipper timed his tackles to perfection. 7

Scott Wilson - A superb display from the centre-back who stuck close to Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink. 7

Souleymane Bamba - Strolled through the game at centre-half. 8

Scott Morrison - The left-back was tight on Nakamura early on, forcing the Japanese midfielder inside. 7

Darren Young - A tigerish display in central midfield despite fitness worries. 7

Jamie McCunnie - The central midfielder was composed on the ball and covered well for his defenders. 7

Scott Muirhead - Good outlet in left midfield but was exposed by Dunfermline's attacking tactics down his side after moving to left-back. 6

Adam Hammill - Pace and direct running caused concern for Celtic but needs to work on his final ball. 6

Mark Burchill - A bright performance but was well off target with Dunfermline's best chance in the opening moments. 6

Jim McIntyre - Faultless in the air and his link-up play was excellent. 7
