Lukasz Zaluska has no regrets about joining Celtic, insisting he is part of one big goalkeeping happy family despite his lack of match action.

Zaluska has played second fiddle to undisputed number one Artur Boruc since joining from Dundee United this summer.

But an injury to his fellow Pole saw the 27-year-old make his Clydesdale Bank Premier League debut for the club in Sunday's 2-1 win at Hamilton.

His excellent performance could now provide manager Tony Mowbray with a selection headache.

But while Zaluska admits he finds it hard being out of the side, he claims bringing success to Celtic is more important than his personal goals.

He told Celtic View: "For every goalkeeper who is number two, it can be difficult, but Celtic is a massive club and I am honoured to be here.

"I haven't been playing that much but I am certain this is the right club for me and I made the correct decision to come here.

"Before every game and every day in training, I do my best to help Artur and all the other goalkeepers.

"Getting three points for Celtic is always our aim. We want to do well in every game and try to win the title. For me, that is the ultimate aim."

Zaluska is loving training alongside Boruc, Dominic Cervi and Daniele Giordano under new goalkeeping coach Steve Woods.

He said: "I really enjoy training. Myself and Artur help each other. That's a good position to be in, because we are all pushing for the same target - to win the SPL title.

"We work with Daniele Giordano and Dom Cervi. We have two Poles, one Italian and one half-Italian, half-American.

"We all have a good laugh working with Woodsy and I think we are lucky to have him as a coach.

"I worked with Steve Thomson at Dundee United and now I work with Woodsy. They are two great coaches and two great guys.

"At Celtic, we are like a big goalkeeping family, but we work hard. Trust me, we work very hard under Woodsy."
