Aberdeen returned from sunny Spain to pouring Pittodrie for a re-arranged
friendly against Ebbe Skovdahl's former side Brondby.
The Danes opened the scoring on the half-hour mark when a Thomas Lindrup
corner flew straight into the net past a bemused Ryan Esson.
The Dons made a couple of changes at half-time, with Andy Dow replacing Chris
Clark and David Preece taking over in goal from Esson.
Aberdeen looked to be heading for defeat but, with just three minutes left,
Rachid Belabed - who had replaced the injured Cato Guntveit in the first half -
lashed the ball past the despairing Mogens Krogh from 20 yards.
If nothing else, at least the horrendous conditions should bring the Dons
quickly back to earth for their Scottish Cup third-round tie at Alloa this
weekend.
