AYR FIND THEIR FEET Click here for updated table

Ayr put their horror start to the season behind them with a fine 2-1 win against in-form Ross County.

Mark Perry put through his own goal to hand Ayr the lead after 10 minutes and James Grady quickly added a second.

The second half saw a fightback from unbeaten County and Connor Geghins gave them hope with a late header but Ayr held on.

St Mirren claimed a 3-1 home victory over Alloa despite going down to 10 men.

Saints had Ricky Gillies sent off in the 75th minute for handling the ball but still ran out fine winners.

Gillies had opened the scoring in the seventh minute. But Scott Crabbe equalised for Alloa from the spot following Gillies' handball.

The Buddies scored two late goals from Martin Cameron in and substitute Scott McKenzie to clinch the win.

St Johnstone maintained their unbeaten start to the league campaign but dropped their first points in a 0-0 draw at Queen of the South.

A second-half Murray McDowell penalty gave Arbroath a deserved 1-1 draw against Clyde at Gayfield.

John Fraser put Clyde ahead in the first half with a 20-yards shot.

But when John Potter clattered McDowell, the home team were awarded a penalty which McDowell converted in style.

But Falkirk stay top after a last-gasp goal from Steve Tosh gave them hard-earned 2-1 victory over Inverness Caley Thistle.

Inverness took the lead through Ross Tokely's diving header in the 26th minute.

Lee Miller equalised when a corner from Jamie McQuilken had the Jags defence in a tangle in the 81st minute and Tosh snatched the winner with a low drive in the last minute.
