Premier League new-boys Wolves continued their preparations for the new campaign with a 1-0 win at Crewe.

Scott Malone, who was captaining the side, got the only goal in the 37th minute when he blasted in a left-footed shot from the edge of the area.

Wolves had two trialists in their squad - Hungarian defender Zoltan Szeiesi and Irish midfielder Jimmy Keohane.
