Reading welcome back striker Leroy Lita to the starting line-up for Saturday's Barclays Premiership visit of Watford after the England Under-21 international served a three-match ban.

Midfielder Steve Sidwell also returns after he was left out of Monday night's home win over Newcastle.

Defender Graeme Murty (calf) and winger Glen Little (Achilles) remain sidelined alongside long-term absentees Ibrahima Sonko and Bobby Convey (both knee).

Watford manager Adrian Boothroyd will need to reshuffle his defence after centre-back Clarke Carlisle was handed a one-match ban.

With American international Jay DeMerit being rested, Boothroyd must decide whether to partner Danny Shittu with Adrian Mariappa, Lloyd Doyley or Cedric Avinel.

Full-back Jordan Stewart must come through a fitness test but Gavin Mahon is rated as only a 50/50 chance.
