Clinton Morrison could make a return for Birmingham in Saturday evening's Premiership meeting with David Moyes' Everton.

The Republic of Ireland international has been sidelined for nearly a month since undergoing a cartilage operation and is in contention for a place on the substitutes' bench.

But midfielder David Dunn will miss a fourth successive match with the cut on his Achilles suffered at Southampton.

Dunn has had the stitches removed and may be available for the following weekend's game at his former club Blackburn.

Gary Naysmith is pushing for a recall to Everton's starting line-up.

The Scotland defender has shrugged off the calf problem which ruled him out for a fortnight and was on the bench for the midweek Carling Cup defeat at Arsenal.

Marcus Bent faces a late fitness test after suffering a knee injury at Highbury while Nigel Martyn is set to return in place of Richard Wright in goal.
