Stoke have agreed contract extensions with midfielder Amdy Faye and defender Andy Wilkinson.

Senegal international Faye, signed from Charlton last year after impressing on trial, has penned a deal which keeps him at the Britannia Stadium until the end of next season, while academy graduate Wilkinson has signed until summer 2011.

The club's chief executive Tony Scholes told the club's official website: "Although at this time the attention is on players that we may be bringing in, the players who are at the football club are the most important ones.

"We're delighted to have both Amdy and Andy commit their medium-term futures to the club and sign extensions to their deals."

Manager Tony Pulis added: "We're pleased to have tied the two of them up to deals.

"Wilko has been smashing for us and we're delighted that Amdy is going to be with us for another season."
