Gareth Bale is out of Tottenham's UEFA Cup clash against Getafe but scans have revealed bruising to his foot rather than a break.

The Wales youngster joins Ledley King (knee), Paul Robinson (calf), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) and Ricardo Rocha (ankle) on the sidelines.

Young-Pyo Lee (shoulder) is a doubt but is in the squad. Ben Alnwick has returned from his loan at Luton but is not registered to play.
