Micky Adams is determined to end Arsenal's 37-match unbeaten run in the league
and spoil the Highbury party on the final day of the season.
The Leicester manager says his team also have pride - not to mention money -
to play for.
The relegated Foxes certainly seem to be up against it with Arsenal head and
shoulders above the rest of the Barclaycard Premiership but Adams is relishing
the challenge.
"There is £1million resting on this game," he said. "We don't want to
finish bottom.
"Every time you go a step up there is an extra £500,000 in prize money, so
there is still a bit to play for."
Only goal difference separates Leicester and the two other relegated sides,
Leeds and Wolves.
Arsenal, on the other hand, go into the game with 25 wins and 11 draws to
their credit in the Premiership and if they remain undefeated, they will be the
first team in the modern era to complete the feat.
Adams said: "I am looking forward to the game - everyone at the club is. It
is not every day you get the chance when you are relegated to rewrite the record
books.
"They will be desperate to make it 38 undefeated. We have the last chance to
bite into that record - and that is what we will be trying to do.
"To do what they have done is a fantastic achievement. But they still got one
game left and I am sure that Arsene (Wenger) will be emphasising that point to
them.
"We could have done with them not having anything to play for in the last
game other than pride.
"However they have this little carrot dangling in front of them."
