Leicester manager Micky Adams has offered striker Paul Dickov a new contract.
Dickov has attracted the interest of Everton while Blackburn have made an undisclosed offer.
But Adams is keen to keep hold of the Scotland international as Leicester try to bounce back from relegation to the Football League.
"We are doing everything possible to keep Paul here at the Walkers Stadium," Adams told the club's official website.
"I have emphasised to Paul just how much we want him to stay and I have offered him a new contract."
