Following Wolves' 2-1 win over North Queensland Fury at Perth's Members Equity Stadium, Fulham disposed of their A-League opponents with ease.
Erik Nevland (60, 64, 67) blasted a seven-minute hat-trick after replacing Bobby Zamora at half-time.
But before that Andrew Johnson had given Fulham a 16th-minute lead after converting at the second attempt from a tight angle after being played in by Zamora.
Nevland arrived at the interval and finished confidently after a pass from Eddie Johnson and then converted a one-on-one opportunity before Johnson fed him in again to flick home his third.
Roy Hodgson made just the one change from the side that had defeated Melbourne Victory 3-0 on Saturday, as Chris Smalling replaced Andranik having overcome his ankle injury.
Smalling slotted into the centre of defence, whilst Chris Baird moved to midfield.
