Robert Earnshaw came off the bench to fire a second-half hat-trick and
boost West Brom's hopes of beating the drop with an unlikely 4-1 win at
Charlton, who played for an hour with 10 men.
The Baggies had started well, and took a deserved lead through Geoff Horsfield
on nine minutes.
Charlton - chasing a UEFA Cup spot - rallied and levelled through Jonatan
Johansson before defender Talal El Karkouri was dismissed for a two-footed
challenge on Zoltan Gera before half-time.
West Brom's extra man finally counted when substitute Earnshaw put them back
in front with 17 minutes left and then made sure of the win with two goals in
the last six minutes.
