Bolton played out a goalless stalemate in Jussi Jaaskelainen's testimonial match against Hibernian.

Newcomers Zat Knight, Sean Davis, Sam Ricketts and Paul Robinson all figured for the Trotters in a match to reward Jaaskelainen for 12 years' service.

Bolton turned in an energetic display with Ricardo Gardner, Ricketts, Kevin Davies, Johan Elmander and Gary Cahill all going close to opening the scoring.

But Jaaskelainen had to produce a good save late on after a mix-up with Zat Knight presented David Wotherspoon with a chance.
