Promotion-chasing Blackburn rescued a point at Ewood Park thanks to a
second-half equaliser from Matt Jansen.
Wimbledon's travelling fans were treated to a positive and commanding display
from their side, which was rewarded five minutes after the break as Jason Euell
claimed his 18th goal of the season.
Wimbledon threatened early on and could have gone ahead through Mark Williams,
the defender's header cleared by Henning Berg.
Jansen then flashed a shot wide for Blackburn, but the Dons continued to press
and Michael Hughes produced a fine save from Brad Friedel.
Jansen then came as close as anyone before the interval, his volley crashing
back off the underside of the bar.
But Wimbledon did take the lead, Euell converting Hughes' pass to give the
visitors a deserved advantage.
Rovers always looked threatening however, Alan Mahon and Jansen forcing good
saves from Kevin Davis.
The pressure eventually paid off, substitutes Craig Hignett and Mark Hughes
combining to set up the equaliser for Jansen, who spared Rovers' blushes with a
close-range tap-in.
