1457: Falkirk know victory over Billy Reid's side will move them to within a point of their fellow strugglers at the SPL basement. Bairns manager Eddie May reports mixed injury news with Mark Stewart, who scored the late equaliser in the 3-3 draw with Celtic a fortnight ago, and Alex MacDonald missing out with groin strains. Striker Carl Finnigan returns to the starting line-up after recovering from a similar injury. Hamilton head into the clash on the back of a 2-2 draw with local rivals Motherwell on their last outing. The visitors are boosted by the appearance of club captain Alex Neil for the first time this season after the experienced midfielder underwent hip surgery during the summer. Neil is a straight replacement for the suspended Guillaume Beuzelin, who was sent off against Motherwell.

1449: Motherwell manager Jim Gannon has dropped Jim O'Brien to the bench for their SPL clash against Aberdeen. Gannon had criticised Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee for admitting winger O'Brien, who is out of contract at the end of the season, fitted his transfer target criteria. Motherwell have goalkeeper John Ruddy and full-backs Stevie Hammell and Yassin Moutaouakil back from injury while also Jamie Murphy comes in. McGhee, back at Fir Park for the first time since quitting the club in June, has Maurice Ross back from suspension to replace the injured Sone Aluko.

1447: Midfielder Barry Ferguson returns to the Birmingham side for their home clash with Fulham. Fulham boss Roy Hodgson makes three changes as Stephen Kelly, Zoltan Gera and fit-again Simon Davies are recalled in place of John Pantsil, Damien Duff and the ill Erik Nevland. Duff is confined to a spot on the substitutes' bench after the heartbreak of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup exit against France in Paris in midweek.

1445: Midfielder Stiliyan Petrov returns from suspension to captain Aston Villa in their clash against Burnley at Turf Moor. The Bulgarian is the only change from the side which hammered Bolton 5-1 before the international break, with Nigel Reo-Coker dropping to the bench. Burnley boss Own Coyle names the same side which drew 3-3 at Manchester City.

1444: The final whistle has just gone at Anfield and it's more points dropped by Liverpool and Manchester City as they've drawn 2-2.

1442: France striker Nicolas Anelka spearheads Chelsea's attack against Sunderland with Salomon Kalou, despite playing 120 minutes for his country in midweek. John Mikel Obi starts his first game for Chelsea in two months while Gael Kakuta, Fabio Borini, Nemanja Matic and Yury Zhirkov are on the bench. Wolves have left Republic of Ireland striker Kevin Doyle out following his exertions against France in midweek.

1439: St Mirren make two changes for their SPL clash with Hibernian, Lee Mair returning from suspension to replace John Potter at the heart of the Buddies' defence while striker Michael Higdon comes in for midfielder Garry Brady, who drops to the bench. John Hughes also makes two changes to his Hibs side with Derek Riordan replacing Colin Nish in attack and Sol Bamba coming in for John Rankin, who, like Nish, starts on the bench.

1437: Switching to the SPL and Madjid Bougherra is absent from the Rangers squad to face Kilmarnock amid reports he had failed to return from international duty with Algeria on time once again. Boss Walter Smith makes two changes from the side who claimed a 2-1 win against St Mirren, with Kenny Miller and Kevin Thomson back in the team at the expense of Nacho Novo and John Fleck, who are both on the bench. Kilmarnock make one change from the side who lost to Dundee United. Manuel Pascali - sent off in the last game against Rangers - replacing Mehdi Taouil.

1436: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger drafts Samir Nasri and Tomas Rosicky into his starting line-up at Sunderland as he looks to make up for the loss of Robin van Persie. The pair are included along with defender Armand Traore and midfielder Alexandre Song as the injured Van Persie and Kieran Gibbs, as well as Andrey Arshavin and Abou Diaby, make way. There are changes too for Sunderland manager Steve Bruce, who welcomes back skipper Lorik Cana from suspension, but is without the banned Kenwyne Jones and Michael Turner.

1435: The team news is starting to come in from this afternoon's 3pm kick-offs in the Premier League and Carlton Cole returns to lead the line as West Ham look to leapfrog fellow strugglers Hull. The highly-regarded striker has overcome a hamstring injury to take his place in Gianfranco Zola's side at the KC Stadium, while there are also returns for Danny Gabbidon and Junior Stanislas. Hull make just one change after lifting themselves out of the bottom three with victory over Stoke last time out as Dean Marney replaces the injured Seyi Olofinjana.

1426: City's lead at Anfield lasted just 74 seconds. Yossi Benayoun slots home from close range after City fail to clear. It's 2-2 and turning into a real Anfield thriller.

1424: Amazingly Manchester City have turned it around completely at Anfield. Carlos Tevez finds Shaun Wright-Phillips in the box. He turns beautifully and squares for Stephen Ireland - just onside - to slot home from close range. 2-1 to the Blues.

1225: In the early SPL game, Hearts are bidding to end three matches without a goal as they welcom St Johnstone for the early kick-off at Tynecastle. Csaba Laszlo makes two changes from the goalless Edinburgh derby a fortnight ago, with Gary Glen and David Obua coming in for Andrew Driver and Arvydas Novikovas. Eggert Jonsson returns from suspension to be among the substitutes. Ninth-placed St Johnstone, making their first visit to the ground on league business since 2002, will leapfrog their opponents with victory. Derek McInnes makes three changes from the side that lost 2-1 at Aberdeen, one injury-enforced. Graham Gartland has failed to shake off a shoulder problem and Stuart McCaffrey deputises.
