Manchester United wingers Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani have pulled out of Portugal's squad to face Greece this week.

National team doctor Henrique Jones revealed that both players suffered leg injuries in United's 3-0 Barclays Premier League win over Liverpool on Sunday and have been allowed to miss the friendly in Dusseldorf on Wednesday.

Ricardo Carvalho, who took a blow to the head while playing for Chelsea in their 2-1 victory over Arsenal, has been passed fit to join up with Luis Scolari's squad.
