Despite winning the Bundesliga title with Stuttgart last season, Fernando Meira will walk away from the club if the right offer comes along.
The Portugal international played a major role in Stuttgart's recent title triumph and is contracted to the club until 2010.
But reports in his homeland on Thursday linked him with a move to Serie A outfit Juventus, and the defender admits the chance of a move to a bigger club would be enough to tempt him away from the Bundesliga.
"There are big clubs interested in me," Meira revealed.
"It would be a great honour for me to play in Italy or Spain and if Stuttgart are interested in selling me, I would happily go."
However, Stuttgart general manager Horst Heldt insists the player is not for sale.
He said: "We are not thinking about letting him go."
Meira is expected to report back for pre-season training on Friday.
Stuttgart kick off the 2007/08 Bundesliga season with a home clash against last season's runners-up Schalke on August 10.
