Manchester City's homesick Thai duo Suree Sukha and Teerasil Dangda are hoping to end their loan spells with Swiss Super League outfit Grasshopper Zurich.

City signed the duo along with fellow Thai Kiatprawut Saiwaew shortly after former Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra took charge at Eastlands last year, but all three were denied work permits after signing three-year contracts.

Thailand internationals Suree and Teerasil were sent to Switzerland on loan, but have yet to feature for the first team, while Kiatprawut is on loan at Club Brugge in Belgium.

"It is difficult for me to improve because the standards of the reserve side are similar to that of a third division club in Thailand," right-back Suree told the Bangkok Post.

"I don't know anything about my future. Teerasil and I are very lonely because our apartment is far from the city."

The duo are expected to join up with City on their Asian Tour, which will see the club play in Bangkok on May 17, before joining up with the national team for June's World Cup qualifiers, starting with Bahrain on June 2 in Bangkok.

Thailand currently sit bottom of their qualification group after suffering defeats by Japan and Oman.

"After that I will stay in Thailand for a while to hear from City whether they want him to go back to Zurich or loan me to a club in Australia or China," Suree added.

"I am ready to play anywhere until the contract with City expires because they pay me 300,000 baht (£4,800) a month which is quite a large amount."

Suree has suggested he wants to join one of City affiliate club's in China (Shanghai Shen Hua) or Australia (Perth Glory) or sign for Japanese club Totori under Vittaya Laohakul, his former coach at Chonburi FC.
