Chievo coach Luigi Del Neri is starting to feel the pressure with his team still far from assured of their Serie A status.
Del Neri needed medical attention after suffering a drop in blood pressure during Wednesday's goalless draw against Lazio.
The result left Chievo just one place clear of the relegation zone ahead of Sunday's encounter against Livorno.
The Chievo boss has recovered and will be on the bench at the Bentegodi stadium.
The Flying Donkeys go into this weekend's game knowing that anything but a win could see them drop to the relegation zone.
They are currently tied on 29 points with 18th-placed Parma and will be looking to end their four-game winless streak.
The point taken in Rome was nevertheless a step forward for the men from Verona after their back-to-back defeats against Atalanta and Udinese.
"This point was very important for us," said Chievo goalkeeper Lorenzo Squizzi.
"We have had to battle in order to take home the point and we will have to continue to battle until the end of the season."
Opponents Livorno travel to Verona looking to get closer to a place in the top half of the table.
The Amaranto have not won on the road since December 20 when they beat Sampdoria and they will be eager to end their poor run on Sunday.
Livorno silenced their critics with a 2-1 win against Cagliari in midweek, much to the delight of coach Fernando Orsi. The club's players, including captain Cristiano Lucarelli, had been booed by fans during their recent dismal run.
"I am really happy with the character my players showed," said Orsi.
"My players must understand that they can win games and have fun as well. Perhaps the criticism received earlier this week have motivated my players to do well."
Orsi praised Lucarelli, who inspired his team to Wednesday's triumph by scoring the opening goal.
Lucarelli, who is the second top scorer in Serie A behind Roma's Francesco Totti with 17 goals, announced last week his intention to leave his hometown club at the end of the season.
An alleged lack of support from the club and the criticism from the supporters has forced the veteran striker to look to a future away from Leghorn.
Nevertheless, the coach is eager to retain his prized asset.
"I wouldn't let Lucarelli go," said Orsi.
"He is one of a kind and he is great striker."
The hosts will be without defender Lorenzo D'Anna, who sustained a rib injury in midweek. But the good news for Del Neri is that defensive duo Salvatore Lanna and Fabio Moro return from suspension.
Midfielder Matteo Brighi is hoping to shake off a muscular problem and return to the starting XI.
The visitors will have to overcome the absence of defender Fabio Galante and midfielder Stefano Morrone, who each serve one-match bans.
