Massimo Oddo's wife has insisted her husband will spurn the advances of AC Milan and stay with Lazio.
Claudia Oddo, speaking at the launch of a charity calendar of the wives of Italy's World Cup winning squad, believes that her spouse will stay with Lazio.
"I think in the end, my husband will stay with Lazio," she said. "We are thinking of having another child and we are well settled in Rome."
Oddo, 30, was a member of Italy's World Cup-winning squad and has been identified by Milan as a possible January recruit.
On Friday, Lazio coach Delio Rossi criticised Oddo for making Milan's interest public.
"I understand the boy," said Rossi. "A big team has come along and made an offer and I am glad he did not say it behind our backs.
"But there's one thing I want to say to him. A player can't say 'I have had an important offer'. He is not the one who can say if an offer is important or not - it's the club that decides that."
