Erik Falkenburg capped a stunning hat-trick with the 90th-minute winner as Sparta Rotterdam moved above ADO Den Haag in the Eredivisie table with a 3-2 victory.
Falkenburg twice put the visitors in the lead, with Danny Buys and Charlton Vicento grabbing the equalisers.
That left the stage for Falkenburg to take advantage of a calamitous defensive mix-up to tap home the winning goal.
The game had earlier been delayed 15 minutes after a pitch invasion.
Falkenburg opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a fine effort, lining up a left-footed shot which he bent past two men and into the corner of the goal.
For the equaliser Lorenzo Pique and Vicento combined well to to play Buys into space and he did not disappoint, rolling his shot across goal and past the out-of-position Aleksander Seliga.
Pique was at fault for Sparta's second, allowing Darko Bodul space to make his way into the penalty area and cut the ball across for Falkenburg to rifle home after 38 minutes.
The hosts would not give up, though, and four minutes later Bogdan Milic headed a long ball on to Vicento, who fought off two defenders to lob Barry Ditewig.
Heavy rain hindered things in the second half, but there was still plenty of attacking flair on display, with Sparta having the lion's share of the chances.
Edouard Duplan was unlucky not to see one of three good attempts hit the back of the net, while Romano Denneboom and Kevin Strootman also went close.
The hosts thought they had done enough until an horrendous error in the 92nd minute, Timothy Derijck's mis-judged back pass presenting Falkenburg with the easiest of finishes into an open net to ensure both the points and the match ball.
